The Aztec clothing was mostly very loose and it didn't cover up the body completely. Aztec clothes were generally made of cotton or ayate fiber, made from the Maguey Cactus. Women would weave the fibers into clothing, a taught their daughters how to make clothes too. Because of their vast trading network, the Aztecs were able to use all of the beautiful arrays of dyes, creating the brilliant colored clothing that is still seen in Mexico today.
